Raymond's Vietnamese Salad Rolls - Gỏi Cuốn
During this culinary adventure Raymond shares his recipes for Vietnamese salad rolls. Instructions for the salad rolls intermingle with his stories of going to the markets in Vietnam as a child with his Mother, growing up during the Vietnamese war and finally arriving in Canada as a refugee.
Gỏi Cuốn is a simple dish, but there are elements in the dish that you will carry over into many other dishes, such as the Nuoc Mam dipping sauce and quick pickle vegetables. Raymond will spend time on the salad roll technique and different ideas for salad roll ingredients.
