Celebrating the launch of Anna's New Cookbook:  Ukraïne Recipes and Stories from Kyiv to the Black Sea

On April 19th, 2026, we invite you to step into the rich and soulful food culture of Ukraine with Ukrainian-American  chef, culinary storyteller, activist, and cookbook author Anna Voloshyna.

Born and raised in southern Ukraine, Anna has dedicated her work to preserving and sharing the flavours, traditions, and stories of her homeland. Her new cookbook, UKRAÏNE releasing October 13 and now available for pre-order, celebrates the dishes, landscapes, and people of Ukraine.

In this special live online cooking experience, Anna will guide us through one of Ukraine’s most beloved comfort dishes:

Ukrainian Cabbage Rolls

Together we will:

• Cook step-by-step with Anna

• Learn about Ukrainian food traditions

• Hear the stories behind the dish and the cookbook

• Gather around a virtual table with a community that believes food connects us across cultures

This event also supports an important cause.

$10 from every ticket will be donated to Bake for Ukraine, Bake for Ukraine helps Ukrainian bakeries contribute to the security of the local food supply during the war.
